Camellia oleifera Industry in Zhuzhou of Hunan Province Using SWOT Analysis
Camellia oleifera is one type of woody edible oil tree species with the promising potential without compe-ting with grain for land.Camellia oleifera industry can greatly contribute to the national grain and oil security for ru-ral revitalization.In this research,a systematic summary was performed on the Camellia oleifera industry in Zhuzhou City,Hunan Province,China.SWOT analysis was implemented from the natural environments,traffic conditions,industrial foundation and technological support.Some challenges were also proposed to improve the stand structure,the management pattern,the derivatives,industry chain,infrastructure,cultivation and marketing management.Some suggestions were then given for the application of new technology at the same time.Industrial development mode can be promoted to integrate the ecological resource with science and technology strength for the regional brand.The finding can provide a strong reference for the development of camellia industry.
