Guizhou Province is one of the most important Camellia oleifera planting areas in China.In this study,the critical review was performed on the development status and challenges of Camellia oleifera industry in Guizhou Province.It was found that three problems were limited to the development of the Camellia oleifera industry,inclu-ding the insufficient capital investment,incomplete industrial chain and weak initiative of planting subjects.Financial means can be expected to regulate the market and strengthen the Camellia oleifera industry chain.It is very necessary to support the strong planting subjects with financial entities.Countermeasures are proposed for the devel-opment of the whole industry chain of Camellia oleifera with financial technology.
