This study aims to efficiently and accurately promote the integrated management of natural and public-welfare forests in Guizhou Province,China.Some measures were also proposed for the ecological support to the high-quality economic and social development.The monitoring data of forest and grass ecology was collected in 2022.Field investigation was then made with/without the province.The current status and existing problems were determined for the natural forest protection and public-welfare forest.Some recommendations were given for their integrated manage-ment.The areas of natural and public-welfare forest were overlaid as high as 3.6082 million hm2.The control meas-ures and protection levels were the similar level.The compensation standard was 240 Yuan per year;Some challenges were remained on the overlap duties in the regulatory agency,personnel redundancy,inadequate compensation sys-tem,insufficient capital investment,and unsound management of forest rangers.The integrated management of natural and public-welfare forests can be realized with the unified management,the overall resource base,and the standardized policy system.
