Qianxinan Prefecture is recognized as one of the golden-climate areas in the ecological zone of 25° north latitude.There are the famous tourist and health cities on the same latitude,including Kunming and Guilin in China,Miami and Hawaii in the United States,as well as Dubai in the United Arab Emirates.This paper aims to analyze the status and resource superiority of forest health care industry in the Qianxinan Prefecture,Guizhou Province,China.A systematic investigation was made to visit the forest health care base,management department of nature pro-tection area,and the operating agencies of forest health care industry.Their opinions and suggestions were also col-lected on the development of forest health industry.SWOT analysis was implemented to determine the strength and weaknesses,opportunities and challenges in the forest health industry.Some countermeasures and recommendations were finally proposed to promote the forest health industry in Qianxinan Prefecture.
