Karl Marx was much concerned with human being in reality,and human de-mand is a priority under his consideration.The promotion of interethnic contact,communication and convergence is an important means of advancing the construction of a sense of community for the Chinese nation and the in-terethnic cohesiveness.The Marxist demand theory assumes that contact,communication and convergence goes from low level to high level;natural demand constitutes a basis and primary formation in the process,social de-mand opens the social communication path for people of different ethnici-ties,and spiritual demand expands the interethnic convergence channels.The interethnic contact,communication and convergence is a due trend,and an analysis of interethnic contact,communication and convergence by means of Marxist demand theory is significant for properly handling it,promoting the construction of a community for the Chinese nation,and enhancing a sense of community for the Chinese nation.
