With the rapid development of information technology and artificial intelli-gence the Smart Era has become a predictable reality.In the field of crimi-nal justice China's public security,procuratorate and court agencies have carried out smart transformation practice,and smart policing,smart prosecu-tion and smart trials have become the shining name cards for technological judicial reform.The reform of criminal evidence system under the driving-force of smart technology is a hot topic of research,serving as guide for evi-dence law ruling development.Through an analysis of the historic change and motivations concerned regarding the evidence system,we can find that scientific and technological development has played a decisive role in push-ing forward the level of human understanding and the system reform.In the Smart Era the criminal evidence system will demonstrate the basic features of data-based evidence information,scientific data analysis proving,quan-tified proof standard information and smart judgment.In response to the smart reform urgency of evidence system,we must prioritize the improvement of rights guarantee over the technological application development,establish and enhance the technology-monitoring mechanism,erect the basic princi-ple of human-prioritization and smart-complementation,and cultivate in-terdisciplinary law talents.
