A Review of the Annual Meeting of the Southwest Ethnic Research Society of China and the Symposium on Chinese-style Modernization and the Development of Southwest Ethnic Regions
From November 9 to 11,2023,the"Annual Conference of the Southwest China Association for Ethnic Studies and the Academic Seminar on Chinese Modernization and the Development of Southwest Ethnic Areas"sponsored by the Southwest China Association for Ethnic Studies was held in Kaili,and more than 130 experts and scholars in the field of ethnology from universities and scientific research institutions across the country participated in the seminar.The experts and scholars at the meeting mainly focused on casting the forging a strong sense of community for the Chinese nation,the experience and path of southwest ethnic research,rural revitalization and rural social governance,and Chinese-style modernization.They put forward many insights that are beneficial to the study of Chinese-style modernization and the development of ethnic areas.
