Localization of the Extended Spring Festival Cultural Atmosphere:A Case Study of the Folk Activity of"Lifting Lord Wang"in Tunpu of Anshun
In Tunpu of Anshun,Guizhou,the traditional festival activity of"Lifting Lord Wang"is an indispensable component of the Tunpu culture.Generally held around lunar January 18,though later than the Lantern Festival(normally regarded as the last-day celebration of the Chinese Lunar New Year),it still attracts a big number of viewers from at home and abroad.This activity demonstrates the local features of Tunpu culture,namely historical development,cultural inheritance,acknowledgement of ancestors'contributions,and necessity of inheriting ancestral spirit.As a national-level intangible cultural heritage,this activity plays an important role in promoting the development of local culture and improving cultural soft power of our nation.Therefore,we should make full use of its intangible cultural heritage value.
