Collective Memory and the Identity of the Chinese National Community in the Pattern of Multi-ethnic Inclusion and Integration
In the process of historical interaction,exchange and integration,various ethnic groups in Yunnan have formed a pattern of multi-ethnic integration.From the perspective of collective memory,this paper conducts anthropological observations on Yunnan,a multi-ethnic region.From such three dimensions as Chinese national identity,cultural identity and political identity,it explores the relationship between the collective memory of various ethnic groups in the pattern of multi-ethnic inclusion and integration and the common identity of the Chinese national community.Clarifying the cohesive and integrated role that the collective memory of ethnic minorities in border areas has played in forming their identity of the Chinese national community and the logic between them can help promote the building of a spiritual home for the Chinese nation in regional society,especially in border ethnic areas,and explore the methods to forge a strong sense of community for the Chinese nation.In the pattern of multi-ethnic inclusion and integration,collective memory and the identity of the Chinese nation as a community are interdependent and influencing each other.Exploring,developing and utilizing the identity resources of collective memory in the pattern of multi-ethnic inclusion and integration is an effective way to enhance the identity of the Chinese nation community among all ethnic groups.
