A Preliminary Study on the Construction of Chinese Culture at Land Border Ports from the Perspective of Border Governance
Border governance is an essential part of national governance,and the construction of Chinese culture constitutes a core issue within border governance.The locational characteristics of land border ports,which serve as both internal and external links,determine that Chinese cultural construction is both a foundational and central element of border governance,an essential area for safeguarding national cultural security,and a unique link in the protection of national culture.The objectives of Chinese cultural construction are realized by shaping the national image,co-constructing and sharing the common spiritual homeland of the Chinese nation,strengthening national identity,and maintaining cultural security in border areas.This entails achieving the fundamental meaning,basic goals,core values,and special mission of cultural construction.The primary paths to these ends include establishing mechanisms for collaborative governance,coordinating relations between Chinese culture and frontier regions,harmonizing cultural relations among various ethnic groups,enhancing mechanisms for the international dissemination of national culture,and fostering innovation in ethnic cultures.These efforts align with the internal requirements of enriching border residents,beautifying border areas,stabilizing border regions,and consolidating border defenses.
