The Logic and Pathway of the Development of the International Chinese Education Discipline
Answering the questions"What is the growth of a discipline,and how does a discipline grow"is a theoretical pre-requisite for advancing the development of the international Chinese education discipline.Firstly,summarizing the practice of the growth of the international Chinese education discipline since the founding of the People's Republic of China into four pe-riods and nine stages,outlining the characteristics of each stage.Secondly,exploring the logic of the growth of the interna-tional Chinese education discipline involves internal dynamics,where various factors within the discipline interact to generate its developmental momentum.External forces rely on adapting to societal needs and changes in the external environment,ac-tively adjusting the mechanisms of discipline development to create a positive feedback loop.Lastly,proposing future explora-tion paths for discipline growth:understanding the dual nature of international Chinese education,clarifying the boundaries of the international Chinese education discipline,focusing on the construction of the discipline's ecological system,establishing an autonomous knowledge system for international Chinese education,cultivating high-level professionals,and realizing the data-driven development of global Chinese language teaching.This provides a reference for achieving high-quality develop-ment of Chinese-style modern international Chinese education in the new development stage.
