On the Interconnection and Interaction between the"Chinese Proficiency Grading Standards for International Chinese Language Education"(CPGS)and Overseas Chinese Language Syllabus
"The Chinese Proficiency Grading Standards for International Chinese Language Education"(CPGS)provides an important top-level reference framework for global Chinese language education.It is of great significance to explore the path of integrating the CPGS into the Chinese language syllabus of overseas countries and promote its teaching implementa-tion.Through a study of 150 Chinese language syllabuses from 34 countries in the"Database of International Chinese Lan-guage Education Standards",it was found that there are effective interfaces and interactive possibilities between the CPGS and overseas curriculums in multiple dimensions.To achieve the application and integration of the CPGS in overseas Chi-nese language syllabuses,in terms of teaching goals,the Chinese quantitative linguistic indicators of the CPGS should be distribute reasonably into the study period of the host country;in terms of teaching content,a theme-based content design should be built,which should be connected with linguistic elements;in terms of assessment,it is necessary to promote in-teraction and communication between analytical indicators and integrated indicators for the outcomes of Chinese learning;in terms of cognition,Chinese language characteristics should be preserved in the syllabuses design and linguistic knowledge systems from both China and overseas should be integrated.
