The Spatial Effect and Transmission Mechanism of Rural Three-Industry Integration on Rural Residents'Consumption
With the comprehensive promotion of the rural revitalization strategy, rural three-industry integration has be-come an important driving force to promote rural residents'prosperity and improve rural residents'consumption level.Based on the panel data of 13 prefecture-level cities in Jiangsu from 2013 to 2022,this paper constructs a spatial econo-metric model to investigate the effect and transmission mechanism of rural three-industry integration on rural residents'consumption level. The results show that rural three-industry integration and rural residents'consumption level all show obvious spatial aggregation characteristics in two ways:"high-high"agglomeration or"low-low"agglomeration.There is a significant spatial dependence on rural three-industry integration. The improvement of rural three-industry integration in surrounding areas can effectively promote rural three-industry integration in the region. The improvement of rural three-industry integration not only effectively promotes rural residents'consumption level in the region, but also promotes rural residents'consumption level in the surrounding areas through spatial spillover effect.Such promotion is characterized by heterogeneity. The promotion effect of rural three-industry integration on rural residents'consumption level mainly de-pends on the extension of the agricultural industry chain, the integrated development of agricultural services, the increase of farmers'income, and the integration of urban and rural areas.
