Plant species diversity in Fanjing Mountain Nature Reserve is distributed along altitude
In order to explore the gradient pattern of plant species diversity and elevation in Fanjing Mountain Nature Reserve, the paper takes Fanjing Mountain Nature Reserve as the research sample site. The relationship between the species composition, species diversity, and flora composition of the trees, shrubs, and herb layer and the altitude gradient of the 23 communities was analyzed. The study results showed that:1)There were 272 species in 146 genera of 64 families in 23 communities;the maximum species richness index reached 211 species at intermediate altitude(1000~2000 m),con-sistent with the typical intermediate expansion principle.2)The change pattern of Shannon-Wiener in-dex(H)in arbor and shrub layer was the trend of first rising and then decreasing, while the herbaceous layer showed the change pattern of first decreasing, then increasing and then decreasing. Each layer Simpson Dominance(D)and Pielou evenness(J)showed no obvious trend in the middle and low ele-vations,but it decreased significantly in the high elevations.3)The evergreen broad-leaved life type gradually decreased after the elevation level, while the deciduous broad-leaved life type and evergreen coniferous life type gradually increased.4)With the elevation, tropical and subtropical flora composi-tion gradually decreased, while temperate composition gradually increased and occupied a dominant po-sition in high-altitude areas.
