Finite difference coupling with multigrid methods for fluid flow in codimensional fractured porous media
An effective numerical method for incompressible single-phase fluid flow in fractured porous media described by reduced discrete fracture model is studied in this manuscript.Combining the ad-vantages of the multi-grid method and the block-centered finite difference methods,a block-centered fi-nite difference multi-grid method is proposed to solve the derived reduced fracture model.Compared with the traditional iterative method,this method has great advantages in improving the computational efficiency.Finally,the effectiveness and stability of the proposed method are verified by numerical ex-periments.
