Spatiotemporal mutation characteristics of Zhijin Cave CO2 and its main influencing factors
As an important indicator of cave environment,CO2 has attracted much attention in the regu-lation of air environment quality and the protection of secondary chemical deposition landscape in tour-ist caves. This paper takes Zhijin Cave as the research object, and carries out the high-frequency moni-toring of cave CO2 concentration and temperature based on the Internet of Things technology, and fur-ther reverses the spatial and temporal variation characteristics of Zhijin Cave CO2 and its relationship with main influencing factors. The results show that:1)The variation of cave CO2 during the cave inha-lation period is related to the difference in CO2 concentration, airflow oscillation, and chimney effect, while the variation of cave CO2 during the cave exhalation period is related to the sharp transition of ca-ve ventilation;2)In the peak season, cave CO2 is more likely to be enriched in the first half of Zhijin Cave, when cave CO2 mutation mainly occurs in the night without tourists or the weakened tourist activi-ty in the stage;3)The large cave hall of Zhijin Cave is conducive to CO2 dissipation, and there is no obvious spatial heterogeneity in the CO2 variation in the cave. The research conclusion will provide the-oretical reference for the environmental protection and operation management of Zhijin Cave and other related tourist caves.
