Construction of ecological security pattern in karst mountains in Southeast Yunnan:A case study of Wenshan Prefecture
Building ecological security pattern is an important measure to optimize the spatial distribu-tion of regional territory. In this study,Wenshan prefecture,a typical karst region in Southeast Yun-nan,was selected as the study area.Ecological source areas were identified based on the results of e-cosystem service importance assessment, the base resistance surface was corrected based on the results of ecological sensitivity assessment, the ecological corridors and ecological nodes were extracted through the circuit theory, and suggestions for optimizing the ecological security pattern in Wenshan prefecture were put forward. The results showed that:1)The total area of ecological source areas in Wenshan prefecture was 1 1435.22 km2,accounting for 36.34%of the total area, with forest as its main land use types.2)A total of 95 ecological corridors were identified, with a total length of 1 423.91 km and an average length of 14.98 km,among which the long ecological corridors were mainly distributed in Qiubei county,Yanshan county and Wenshan city in the west of the study area.3)A total of 39 ecological pinch points with an area of 125.34 km2,15 low-obstacle areas with an are-a of 9.60 km2 and 28 high-obstacle areas with a total area of 36.23 km2 were identified. The research results can provide reference for the sustainable utilization of land resources and the development of re-gional ecological protection in Wenshan Prefecture.
