Investigation and Case Study of Policy-Based Agricultural Insurance on Sugarcane in Tiandong County
Investigations were conducted by means of communications with related departments, institutions and cane growers, to analyze the main problems and their causes related to policy-based agricultural insurance on sugarcane in Tiandong County. Countermeasures were presented according to the current situation and conditions, such as: the popularization of insurance policy, stronger organizational leadership, enforcement of related laws and regulations, improved insurance services and work efficiency, etc. These countermeasures will be of great significance to the sustainable development of sugarcane industry and to the national sugar security.
