Application Analysis of Mix-A Small Molecular Amine in Sugar Cane Boiler
The 130 t/h boiler water of Honghe Sugar Co.Ltd.was originally treated with phosphate. This method had problems such as large pH fluctuations, frequent boiler discharge, large discharge volume, excessive scaling in boiler related pipelines, low heat transfer efficiency, and significant damage to turbine blades caused by excessive salt content in steam. In the 2022/23 crushing season, the treatment of boiler water was improved by coordinating the control of Mix-A small molecule amine and phosphate. The actual operating results showed that the pH value of the boiler water was controlled to meet the standard and stable, and the boiler discharge rate was reduced. At the same time, small molecule amine can peel off and disperse the scale layer on the surface of the water-cooled wall tube, reduce the amount of sediment on the tube wall, improve the heat transfer efficiency of the furnace tube, achieve energy-saving and emission reduction effects, and also reduce the damage of steam salt to the turbine blades. The successful implementation of this plan provides a new method and approach for the treatment of medium pressure boiler water in sugar cane enterprises.
