Scientific Understanding and Healthy Consumption of Sugar
Sugar is widely used in the food,chemical,and pharmaceutical industries,serving as the longest used and the safest sweetener by now.It takes crucial strategic place in national economy,politics and security.However,in recent years,sugar has been subject to demonization and resistance.The misconceptions surrounding sugar not only impact the healthy development of the sugar industry but also have negative effects on people's health.The article provides an overview of both domestic and international sugar and sugar substitute industries.It delves into the relationship between sugar and health,diseases and aging with the aim of guiding people to develop a scientific understanding of sugar and make healthy choices in its consumption.It calls for joint efforts from society,industry and company to promote the high-quality development of the sugar industry and achieve a harmonious coexistence of sweetness and health.
