From 2021 to 2023,under the organization of the National Sugar Industry Technology System,Laibin Comprehensive Test Station carried out the 15th round of national sugarcane variety area test.Using Guiliu05136 as the control variety,field trials on 15 new sugarcane varieties one year new-planting and two years perennials field experiment investigation and evaluation were conducted.The results showed that the performance of tested varieties were significant differences in Laibin,the better ones were Yuegan59 and Zhongzhe14,high yield,high sugar content and lower incidence of pests and diseases.Zhongzhe8 had serious sugarcane smut and Yunrui14662 had slightly serious sugarcane pokkah boeng disease.
