From 2021 to 2024,under the organization of Yunnan Province Industrial Technology System,Dehong Comprehensive Experimental Station carried out the 17th round of sugarcane variety regionalization experiment in Yunnan Province.Through 1 year new planted and 2 years ratoons field investigation and laboratory process evaluation of 12 new sugarcane varieties,the results showed that there were obvious differences in the performance of different varieties in Dehong.The yield of all tested varieties were lower than the CK.The average sugar content of Yunzhe15-1671 and Dianzhe11-717 were lower than the CK,while the other 10 varieties were all higher than the CK.Only Yunrui14-658 had higher yield of sugar than the CK.Yunzhe12-1355 is especially early maturing,high sugar,large stem diameter,uniform upright resistance to lodging,and stable yield of perennial roots can be widely spread in Dehong sugarcane area.
