Effects of Modified Straw Water Retaining Agent on Nutrient Content and Related Gene Expression of Wheat in Saline Alkali Land
In this study, the modified straw water retaining agent made was applied to winter wheat in saline alkali soil to explore the impact of the modified straw water retaining agent on the growth and development of winter wheat in saline alkali soil, providing a theoretical basis and practical basis for the widespread application of the modified straw water retaining agent. After applying different doses of modified straw water retaining agents under the same saline alkali conditions, the nitrogen,phos-phorus,and potassium content in the aboveground parts of wheat during the seedling stage, anthesis stage, and filling stage,as well as the expression of TaSOS1 gene in seedling stage and yield were measured. The results showed that the contents of nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium in the aboveground parts of wheat in T2 were the highest at different stages, which were higher than or sig-nificantly higher than those in other treatments. At the seedling stage of wheat, the expression of TaSOS1 gene in T2 was significantly lower than that in other treatments.During the harvest period, the yield of T2 was the highest. The results showed that the application of modified straw water retai-ning agent was beneficial to the growth and development of wheat in saline-alkali land, and also had a certain effect on the improvement of saline alkali land.
