The Impact of 30% Thiamethoxam Suspension Fungicide on Oilseed Rape Growth
To investigate the influence of 30%Thiamethoxam seed coating agent on the growth of rape, experiment using coating agent to treat MY400 and BY150 varieties was conducted in a field.Observations were made on seedling emergence rate, economic traits, and yield. The results showed that the seedling emergence rate of rape had been improved, and in the emergence tests of MY400 in April,May,and September, the emergence rates were 48.33%,43.67%,and 52.33%,respectively.These rates were significantly different from control, with an increase of 11.20%in April compared to control.Seed emergence rate of BY150 in each month was 1.34%-4.54%higher than that of control. The data of four items including the effective branch number, the effective length of main inflores-cence,the number of main inflorescence pods, and the number of effective pods on branches of MY400 were significantly higher than those of control, while BY150 was slightly higher than control. The processing had no significant difference compared to the average thousand seed weight of the control, but in terms of yield,MY400 and BY1502 increased production by 8.71%and 6.24%respec-tively compared to the control.Seedlings treated with 30%Thiamethoxam seed coating agent had improved some economic traits during their growth process, ultimately leading to an increase in over-all rape yield.
