Pathogen Identification of Rose Gray mold and Its Response Characteristics to Plant Hormones
In order to clarify the pathogen of rose Gray mold in the southern Jiangsu region, the tissue separation and culture method was used in this study to isolate and purify the pathogenic bacteria of gray mold disease in the field.By observing the colony morphology and microstructure of the patho-gen,combining the results of ITS gene sequence to construct the phylogenetic tree, the results showed that the bacterium was B.cinerea.To further explore the relationship between the resistance to gray mold and a variety of plant hormones, exogenous plant hormones were used to treat the rose petals and then inoculated with B.cinerea.The six hormones were gibberellin(GA3),abscisic acid(ABA),methyl jasmine(MeJA),salicylic acid(MeSA),auxin analog(NAA),cytokinin(6-BA).The results showed that the rose petals treated with MeJA,MeSA,and 6-BA reduced the disease degree of Gray mold,we speculated that these three plant hormones could improve the resistance of rose petals to Gray mold, while GA3,ABA,and NAA had no obvious effect.
