The Communist Party of China has always attached great importance to ideological construction.Facing a strategy of national rejuvenation amid global changes of a magnitude not seen in a century since the beginning of the new era,the Party Central Committee has firmly grasped the fundamental tasks of"two consolidations",focused on"upholding socialism,rallying public support,fostering a new generation with sound values and ethics,developing Chinese culture,and building a positive image of China".Great success has been made from strengthening the leading ideological construction.The leadership over ideological work has become stronger and stronger,the guiding position of Marxism in the ideological field has become clearer,the intellectual and cultural needs of the people have been better met,the country's cultural soft power has been significantly enhanced,and the guarantee of ideological construction has become more powerful.In this process,rich experience has been accumulated from ideological construction.To put it explicitly,it is to insist on raising the flag and casting the soul in order to consolidate the guiding position of Marxism in the ideological field.It is to strengthen the Party's leadership to consolidate the power of leadership,management,and discourse in ideological work.It is to adhere to put people and their lives first so as to enhance the cohesion and leadership of socialist ideology.It is to have the courage to carry forward the spirit of fight against wrong ideas and social thoughts.It is to strengthen institutional enforcement to consolidate the legal guarantee of dominant ideological construction.
