Countermeasures for Cultivating Native Chinese Language Teachers in Africa in the Context of Belt and Road
The Belt and Road Initiative(BRI)provides an effective platform and important opportunity for the promotion of Chinese language in Africa.The localization of Chinese language teachers is an inevitable trend and requirement for Chinese language internationalization.Currently,the number and scale of native Chinese language teachers in Africa are gradually increasing while there are also a series of problems.Taking Cameroon as an example,This article analyzes the problems of teacher shortage,low quality,unclear cultivation objectives and unreasonable cultivation contents in the process of cultivating native Chinese language teachers in Africa.The solution strategy points out that the cultivation of native Chinese language teachers in African Confucius Institutes should be further improved in terms of clarifying professional and specific training goals,formulating scientific and practical training content,improving the scale of diversified training levels and efficient training methods.
