General Secretary Xi Jinping's important discourse on the spirit of educators is not only the spiritual pillar for cultivating educator-type teachers,but also the theoretical guideline for creating a high-quality teaching force and the endogenous impetus for accelerating the construction of a strong educational country.It requires both ideals and morals,both wisdom in nurturing and attitude in cultivating,both benevolence and love and the pursuit of the way to practicing his discourse.In order to implement his discourse,it is necessary to establish a firm political direction and strengthen the Party's overall leadership over education;to set up aspirations and ambitions as well as strengthen the role of teachers'awareness and commitment;to advocate respect for teachers and strive to enhance the happiness of teachers'positions;finally to deepen the reform of education and to push forward the modernization of the governance system of teachers.
