A Comparative Study of English-French in Teaching French as a Second Foreign Language
French has always been favored as the"major language"among the"minor languages"and selected as a second foreign language by the students who are major in English.Inevitably,this course also has problems such as limited class hours,heavy tasks,and insignificant teaching effectiveness.French teachers make more use of English a medium,with the help of comparison as this important means of foreign language teaching.This not only respects the objective laws of language learning,so that the content of the explanation more understandable,to achieve complexity of the simple,unknown for the known;but also conducive to helping students achieve mastery,building a systematic understanding of Western language and culture,promoting positive transfer of knowledge,so as to achieve the effect and quality of teaching.
