Promoting the ideological and political work in higher vocational colleges in the new era is the realistic requirement of fostering virtue through education.The ideological and political work is facing new situations,new tasks,and new characteristics of students'growth and success in higher vocational colleges in the new era.At present,there are some prominent problems such as insufficient innovation in methods,weak teacher construction,poor main channels and incomplete coordination mechanism.To promote the ideological and political work,higher vocational colleges must make precise efforts and respond effectively at the four levels which including reshaping the concept of education,improving the level of the team,implementing moral and technical training and coordinated linkage in order to strive to promote the quality and efficiency of ideological and political work.
