Competency Model of Psychological Commissioner in Colleges——Based on Grounded Theory
This study is based on grounded theory.Firstly,extensive materials through data analysis(42),semi-structured questionnaire survey(54),and in-depth interviews(15)are collected,collated,summarized,coded at three levels.Secondly,this study explores the connotation and dimensions of the competency of psychological commissioner in colleges,and constructed the iceberg model.Personality traits,self-awareness,interpersonal relationship,organizational management and professionalism constitutes the five elements of the competence of psychological commissioner.Personality traits and self-awareness are the hidden traits"under the iceberg",which are stable and not easy to be measured.While interpersonal relationship,organizational management and professionalism are the explicit traits"above the iceberg",which are more likely to be measured through acquired skills.
