The Influencing Mechanism of College Students'Autonomous Learning Ability
In response to the requirement of improving the quality of talent cultivation and the construction of a learning society by the state, this study constructed a theoretical model of the influencing factors on college students'autonomous learning ability.Based on this model,a scale containing 43 items was designed and an equal-proportional stratified sampling survey was conducted. The data from 819 valid questionnaires was adopted and a two-factor analysis method was applied to explore the influencing mechanisms of college students'autonomous learning ability. The study shows that learning motivation(especially intrinsic learning motivation),learning control and strategies, effort levels, teacher support, peer support, and learning environment(particularly the soft environment)have a significant positive impacts on college students'autonomous learning ability.Additionally, the degree of influence of these factors differentiated across different types of colleges and universities.Accordingly,a series of recommendations are proposed, including stimulating learning motivation, enhancing learning control, optimizing learning strategies, strengthening teacher guidance, and implementing classified management.
