The Mathematics Teaching in Higher Vocational Colleges from the Perspective of Cone of Learning——Take the Teaching of Functions to Find Limits as an Example
Taking Edgar Dale's Cone of Learning as a perspective and the teaching of functions to find limits as a case study, this study discusses in depth the improvement strategies of mathematics teaching in higher vocational colleges.Through the investigation and research on the teaching of functions to find limits in higher vocational colleges and universities, the effectiveness of Edgar Dale's practice doing teaching method in improving students'academic performance is revealed. The study shows that the teaching mode based on Edgar Dale's Cone of Learning can significantly improve students'learning ability and interest in mathematics compared with traditional teaching methods, and suggests the importance of active learning, participatory learning and teamwork in the teaching of mathematics in higher vocational colleges and universities, which provides theoretical basis and practical guidance for teaching reform.
