The commissioning of local colleges and universities by the armed forces to carry out NCO-targeted students programme represents a significant step towards achieving the Party's objective of strengthening the military in the new era and aligning with the national development strategy of military-civilian integration.It is a crucial measure to promote the strengthening of the military by nurturing talent.It is crucial for local training institutions to enhance and innovate the ideological and political education of NCO-targeted students.This paper uses the Hubei Communications Technical College as a case study to examine the challenges of ideological and political education for NCO-targeted students and the strategies for addressing them.The findings can inform the work of local NCO-targeted students'training colleges and universities.
