With the increasing of China's foreign publicity,the importance of translating Jingchu Culture(荆楚文化)for international communication is becoming increasingly prominent.This paper points out that the effectively translating should be contextualized to promote cross-cultural communication.By analyzing the existing problems of the publicity translation of Hubei,such as language habits and cultural differences this paper fully explores contextual information from the three dimensions of language,culture,and communication,pays attention to cultural adaptability,and improves the accuracy and readability of translation.By analyzing specific translation examples,This paper also show how the theory of contextual meaning can be applied to achieve the effectiveness and relevance through specific translation examples.Finally,suggestions are presented to strengthen the capacity of the publicity translation of Hubei,aiming to enhance Hubei's discourse power and influence in the international arena.
