Immersive Teaching Leading to Deep Learning:Theoretical Construction and Practical Exploration——Reflection on the Teaching Reform of Degree Foundation Courses for Master's Degree Graduates in Education
The education of professional degree graduate students is the main channel for cultivating high-level applied specialists,in which the degree foundation course plays a foundational role.Based on the investigation and analysis of the current learning situation and demands of Master's degree graduates in Education,an immersive teaching paradigm leading to deep learning is designed.Immersive teaching adheres to the learning-centered idea,is supported by change in learning styles and has three typical features.First,it is directed by real problem-solving and highlights practical learning;second,it is carried by contextual experience activities and advocates embodied learning;and third,it is based on learning community and emphasizes constructive learning.According to the theo-retical conception of"three stages and seven steps"of immersive teaching,the practical exploration and effect test of immersive teaching have been carried out,and five effective practical strategies have been developed,that is,to drive the learning process by real project-based tasks;to drive the deep participation of individuals by self-initiated learning community;to reproduce the real problem-solving process by realistic scenarios;to trigger the deep im-mersive experience by multiple embodied situations;and,to promote continuous improvement and common growth by diversified team evaluation.
