On the Scientific Research Context of College English Teachers in Inner Mongolia
The study collects and analyzes a variety of data,including a questionnaire survey from 120 English teach-ers in the region,6 interviews,30 narrative inquiries and field observations from these teachers,the overall situation of the scientific research context of English teachers in colleges and universities in Inner Mongolia is presented.The data reflect the differences between English teachers'research cognition and research practice,output and input,teachers'expectation of support from peer and environment and actual help.The scientific research context of English teachers is a complex structure shaped by the interaction of individual,interpersonal and institutional factors in the region,especially the interaction between individuals and their respective scientific research context.It is expected to have a deep thought and positive impact on the scientific research context and professional development of teachers.
