Objective To establish a method for determining schiandrin A in Gandening Pill. Methods The high performance liquid chromatography was used to dectect the content of schiandrin A. The chromatography column was a phe-nomenex Luna C18( 5 μm,250 mm ×4.6 mm ). The mobile phase was acetonitrile-water-ace acid ( 64:35:1 );flow velocity was 1 ml/min;detective wavelength was 254 nm and column temperature was set at 25℃. Results Good linearity was obtained in the range of 0.2624-0.5248 μg, and the recovery and RSD were 98.91% and 0.84% respectively. Conclusion The method is accurate , simple, and reliable with good specificity and repeatabicity for quality control of Gandening Pill.
