Mechanism of New-Generation Migrant Workers' Career Adaptability:Mediating Role of Career Self-Management
Social occupations are diversified and with no clear boundary,which poses challenges to new-generation migrant workers'career adaptability.Based on career construction theory,the relational model between proactive personality,career self-management and career adaptability of new-generation migrant workers was constructed.The study conducted a survey and analyzed 332 samples of new-generation migrant workers by using structural equation method.As the results suggest,proactive personality and career self-management have positive effect on new-generation migrant workers'career adaptability,and career self-management partially mediates the positive effect of proactive personality on career adaptability.Therefore,it is necessary to cultivate the consciousness and proactive personality of new-generation migrant workers,and strengthen their career self-management training,so as to improve their career adaptability and promote their career development.
