Concept,Structure,and Measurement of College Students' Proactive Academic Behaviors for Learning and Development
The initiative of college students in academic development has a continuous positive impact on their personal growth,social human capital development,and national education development.However,a universally accepted criterion for academic behavior measurements is yet to be set up for Chinese context.This study aims to define the concept,classify the dimensions,and develop a scale for proactive behavior of college students'academic development in the new era from the perspective of positive organizational behavior.The study has defined the connotation of proactive behavior of college students'academic development,constructed a three-dimensional conceptual structure including current autonomous learning behavior,political conscious behavior and practical spontaneous behavior,and determined 21 behavioral measurement items via qualitative and quantitative analysis.The results indicate that the scale for measuring the proactive behavior of college students'academic development in the context of Chinese characteristics has good reliability and validity.
