Urbanization Willingness of Farmers and Herdsmen and the Difference of Influencing Factors in Agro-pastoral Ecotones——From the Perspective of Resource Endowment and Subject Cognition
Analyzing the influence mechanism of farmers′willingness to urbanization is of significance to the high-quality development of urbanization in agro-pastoral ecotones.Based on the perspective of resource endowment and subject cognition,the household survey of farmers and herdsmen in Tuquan Town,Xing′an League was conducted,and the binary logistic model was used to analyze the urbanization willingness of farmers and herdsmen and the difference of influencing factors.The study has found that the willingness of herdsmen to urbanize is far lower than that of farmers,and the factors affecting the willingness of farmers and herdsmen to urbanize are different.In addition to common factors such as age,policy understanding,per capita annual income,and the use of homestead,the urbanization willingness of farmers is significantly affected by the topographical index,per capita cultivated land area,and the confidence of reemployment benefits.The urbanization willingness of herdsmen is affected by the distance from rivers,towns and grasslands,and the satisfaction of infrastructure,social security,housing compensation,and medical security confidence.This article offers policy suggestions to accelerate urbanization in agro-pastoral ecotones.
