The Optimal Paths for the Integrated Development of Marine Economy and Marine Environment in Hebei Province
Based on the panel data of marine economy in Hebei Province and environment from 2015 to 2022,the entropy method was used to calculate the marine economic development index and marine ecological quality index of Hebei Province from 2015 to 2022,and the fusion degree model was applied to evaluate the coordination status of the two.The results indicate that the ma-rine economy has not yet taken a leading role in economic development of Hebei Province,while the marine environmental quality index generally shows a fluctuating upward trend.The coupling coordination degree between marine environment and marine economy in Hebei Province is lower than the national average level,as well as those of Tianjin,Liaoning,and Shandong,falling into the category of mild imbalance and recession with economic gains and losses.Therefore,optimization paths are proposed,including guiding the green development of the marine economy with ecologi-cal concepts,building a marine innovation system to promote the optimization and upgrading of marine industries in Hebei,strengthening a coordinated and efficient policy system to promote open cooperation in the marine economy,and strengthening policy support and open cooperation,in or-der to achieve the deep integration and coordinated development of marine economy and marine environment.
