The damage compensation system of ecological environment is a way to manage envi-ronment and adapts to the new age.Currently,the damage compensation cases of ecological envi-ronment are problematic in practice at the grassroots.Therefore,It is necessary to analyze the sig-nificance of implementing the system of compensation for ecological and environmental damage,discuss the puzzlement about application,investigation and assessment,negotiation and proceeding,fund management,repair and effect evaluation.The paper also discusses the solution strategy of publicizing the objectives of the eco-environmental damage compensation system,establishing eco-logical environment damage degree standard,improving the assessment level of ecological and en-vironmental damage,promoting the comprehensive assessment of ecological and environmental damage,unblocking the channels of information sharing among the departments responsible for ecological and environmental damage,improving the efficiency of the use of funds for ecological and environmental damage compensation,implementing the assessment of ecological and environ-mental damage compensation and its effects.All of the above measures are to provide relevant de-partments with practical references to work out detailed policies.
