Study on the impact mechanism of new quality productivity on regional green transformation
Based on the panel data of 30 provinces in China(excluding Tibet,Hong Kong,Macao and Taiwan)from 2012 to 2021,this research measured the level of regional green transformation by constructing the index system of new quality productivityand applied the super-efficiency SBM model that includes non-desired outputs,so as to explore the influence mechanism of new quality productivity on regional green transformation from the dual perspectives of technological innova-tion and industrial structure.The results of the study show that the new quality productivity can sig-nificantly promote regional green transformation,and the promotion effect is more obvious in the eastern and central regions;the new quality productivity can promote regional green transformation through the two paths of upgrading the level of technological innovation and optimizing the indus-trial structure,and the mechanism's effect is more obvious in the eastern and central regions.Ac-cordingly,it is proposed that the development of new productive forces should be strongly suppor-ted,a sound mechanism for regional coordinated development should be established,the level of technological innovation should be raised,and the industrial structure should be optimized,so as to help the regional green transformation in all aspects.
