The study is to explore the effects of different treatments on the germination characteristics of Sophora moorcroftiana seeds,in which the seeds were soaked in water,300 mg·L-1 and 600 mg·L-1 GA3 for 2,4,and 8 days.The results showed that with the extension of soaking time,the germination rate of S.moorcroftiana seeds increased,and soa-king with 300 mg·L-1 GA3for 4-8 days can significantly improve the germination rate,which is 10％-15％higher than soaking with water.For germination-vigor,there was only one peak of germination-vigor after soaking for 2 days and 8 days in water,and GA3 300 mg·L-1 and 600 mg·L-1 treatments,while there were two peaks after soaking for 4 days.Meanwhile,the analysis of variance results showed that there were extremely significant differences in germination rate and decay rate among 9 different treatments,but there was no significant difference in hard seed rate among different treatments.
