Research Progress on Cultivation and Resource Utilization of Indocalamus tessellatus
As an important Indocalamus tessellatus plant,Indocalamus tessellatus is widely distributed in southern China and has high economic and ecological value.This article reviews the research progress on the types and geographical distri-bution,propagation and cultivation techniques,resource utilization,and industrial development status of Indocalamus tes-sellatus.Elucidate that Indocalamus tessellatus has broad application potential in food processing,chemical engineering,and other fields,especially in food packaging,natural flavor extraction,and polysaccharide beverage production.Howev-er,the current industrialization development of Indocalamus tessellatus forests still faces many challenges,such as the de-cline of wild Indocalamus tessellatus forests,low resource utilization rates,and lagging base construction.This article pro-poses strategic recommendations for the sustainable development of the Indocalamus tessellatus industry,in order to pro-vide scientific basis for further research and application of Indocalamus tessellatus.
