New Distribution Record of Clangula hyemalis in Hubei Province
On January 13th,2024,during the national synchronized survey of overwintering waterbirds,surveyors ob-served and photographed two Clangula hyemalis on the Han River near the Cuijiaji Dam in Xiangzhou District,Xiangy-ang City,Hubei Province.This officially reported the distribution of Clangula hyemalis in Hubei Province,confirming it as a new record for the avian species in the province.
