On September 10th,2023,a rare albino Anas zonorhyncha was recorded by the monitoring personnel of Yichang Garden Bureau and the Yichang Bird Watching in the Yidu section of Guanzhou,Yichang Chinese Sturgeon Na-ture Reserve of the Yangtze River,Hubei Province.The individual was completely albino,which was slightly smaller than others.After consulting the Guide to the Birds of China,it was confirmed that the bird was an individual of the albino Spot-billed Duck(Anas zonorhyncha).This provides a scientific basis for further research on albi-no birds.
