The Effect of Midazolam Combined with Lidocaine Nebulization on Hemodynamics,Blood Oxygen Saturation, and Adverse Reactions in Children Undergoing Bronchoscopy Examination
Objective To investigate the effect of midazolam combined with lidocaine nebulisati-on on haemodynamics, blood oxygen saturation and adverse effects in children undergoing bronchoscopy. Methods A prospective study of 114 children admitted to Xinyang Central Hospital for bronchoscopy from January 2022 to January 2024 was conducted. The 114 patients were di-vided into the study group and the control group by the random number table method, with 57 cases in each group. Both groups of children were nebulised with lidocaine before the examina-tion,and saline 5 mL was used for intravenous push 5 min before the examination in the control group, while midazolam 0.15 mg/kg and saline 5 mL were given for intravenous push 5 min be-fore the bronchoscopy in the study group. The differences in anaesthesia effect, success rate of one-time placement, haemodynamics, oxygen saturation and adverse reactions were compared between the two groups. Results The total effective rate of anaesthesia in the study group was significantly higher than that in the control group(χ2=5.911,P<0.05).The success rate of one-time mirror placement in the study group was significantly higher than that in the control group(χ2=12.755,P<0.05).Compared with the pre-anaesthetic period,SBP,DBP,MAP and HR were significantly higher in the control group during microscopy(P<0.05),and MAP and HR were higher in the study group(P<0.05).The fluctuation of SBP,DBP,MAP and HR in the study group was not obvious and tended to normal levels, while the fluctuation of SBP,DBP,MAP and HR in the control group was larger. The total adverse reaction rate was significantly lower in the study group than that in the control group(χ2=27.691,P<0.05).Conclusion Midazolam com-bined with lidocaine nebulization for bronchoscopy in children has better anesthesia effect,in-creases the success rate of primary placement, improves hemodynamics and blood oxygen sat-uration,and reduces adverse reactions.
