Effect of Supplemented Shenshi Bupi Decoction on the Efficacy and Immune Function of Children with Recurrent Respiratory Tract Infection of Lung Qi Deficiency Syndrome
Objective To observe the therapeutic effect and immune function of supplemented Shenshi Bupi Decoction on children with recurrent respiratory tract infections(RRTI)of Lung Qi deficiency syndrome.Methods A total of 82 children with RRTI admitted to our hospital from August 2023 to February 2024 were selected and divided into control group(n=41)and obser-vation group(n=41)according to treatment methods.The control group was treated with ly-ophilized oral splenic peptide and the observation group was treated with supplemented Shens-hi Bupi Decoction on the basis of control group.After 2 months of continuous treatment,the two groups were compared in terms of TCM evidence points,clinical efficacy,differences in hu-moral immune function and adverse reactions.Results After treatment,the total effective rate in the observation group was significantly higher than that in the control group(χ2=6.011,P<0.05).The TCM syndrome score of the observation group was significantly lower than that of the control group(P<0.05).The concentrations of immunoglobulin A(IgA),immunoglobulin G(IgG)and immunoglobulin M(IgM)in the observation group were significantly higher than those in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion The integration of supplemented Shenshi Bupi Decoction with western medical treatment can improve the clinical efficacy,enhance the im-mune function of RRTI children,change their immune imbalance state,and reduce the incidence of adverse reactions.
